Tepuyes ("we") runs a monthly care subscription: a family member abroad pays, and we coordinate delivery of chronic-care medication to their relative in Caracas, Venezuela. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our waitlist, our medication requests, our checkout, our deliveries and our WhatsApp assistant.
Before we open, you can join our waitlist. When you do, we collect your email address and your language and, if you choose to give them, the country you live in and the city where your family member lives. We use them to confirm your email address and to tell you when Tepuyes opens, and we look at how many people are waiting in each country and city to plan the service. We send these emails through Resend. We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them.
You can also give us a WhatsApp number. That is optional: you can join with an email address only. If you do give one, you tick the box that says Tepuyes may message you on WhatsApp about the launch, and we keep the number, the date and time you ticked the box and the words next to it. We use the number only to message you about the launch, and Meta delivers those messages for us. We never tick the box for you. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@tepuyes.co; we then delete the number. Withdrawing it doesn't remove you from the email waitlist.
To be removed from the waitlist, email privacy@tepuyes.co.
If you don't find a medication on our conditions page, you can ask us to add it. We collect the name of the medication you type and your language, and, if you choose to give it, your email address (optional), so we can tell you when it is added. We use these requests to decide which medications to add, and we are told of each one by email. We do not link a request to a subscription or to a person's health information. We keep requests until you ask us to remove them: email privacy@tepuyes.co.
When we deliver, we keep a record of the delivery:
Who sees them. You, through the private tracking link we send you, see your family member's deliveries: their status, the delivery photo, and the lot numbers and medications of the boxes delivered. The pharmacy sees the lot and packing details of the orders it fills. The courier sees the delivery job (recipient, address and time window) and enters the photo and, when needed, the receiver's name. Our team can see all of it when needed to run the service, and each time it does we log it.
How long we keep them. The delivery photo is deleted 90 days after delivery. The lot numbers and the receiver's name stay with the delivery record for as long as the subscription is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting or dispute purposes.
To set up and fulfill the subscription: to coordinate each delivery, to contact you or the recipient about the subscription, to run billing, and to keep the records we need to operate. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Data is stored on infrastructure hosted in the United States and is encrypted at rest. We keep it while the subscription is active and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. Some things we delete sooner, on a fixed schedule:
If you give us details about a family member, please make sure they're comfortable with you sharing them for this purpose.
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you or your family member. Email privacy@tepuyes.co. You can stop messaging our WhatsApp number at any time.
Who is responsible. The company responsible for your personal information is Tepuyes LLC. You can reach us at privacy@tepuyes.co.
Transfer to the United States. If you live in Spain or elsewhere in the European Union, your information is sent to and stored in the United States, as described above.
Your rights. You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your information, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw a consent you gave. Email privacy@tepuyes.co. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es), or to the authority where you live.
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date above.
